Focus on high standards of workmanship and safety * Trade-qualified Heavy Fabricator or Fitter/Turner role * $37-$42 per hour depending on experience * Monday-Friday - 6:30am-3:00pm . Also Health insurance included. We are working with a well-established engineering company based in Porirua looking to add an experienced Tradesperson to their team. Ideally, you will be a trade-qualified Heavy Fabricator or Fitter/Turner, with strong practical skills and a solid work ethic. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive workshop team with consistent hours and a competitive pay rate. Key Responsibilities: * General engineering and fabrication work * Reading and interpreting technical drawings * Assembly, fitting, and fabrication of components * Workshop-based work with occasional on-site tasks * Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety What We're Looking For: * Trade qualification in Heavy Fabrication, Fitting & Turning, or similar * Experience in a general engineering or fabrication workshop * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship * Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team What We Offer: * Competitive pay: $37 - $42 per hour * Consistent weekday hours (6:30am - 3:00pm) * Stable, long-term opportunity * Friendly, experienced team environment * Well-equipped engineering workshop If you're a skilled tradesperson looking for a solid role with great hours and competitive pay, we'd love to hear from you.
