About the Role – Mō te Tūranga We are seeking a capable and compassionate Relationships Manager to support the day to day operation of Burlington and Alpine View retirement villages in a 2IC capacity. This is a varied, hands on role where relationships sit at the heart of everything you do. Working closely with the Village Managers, you’ll foster a positive and inclusive village culture by building strong connections with residents, families, staff, and key stakeholders. You’ll support village operations, resident engagement, sales activity, staff onboarding, and compliance, while helping ensure each village runs smoothly and professionally. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing operational leadership with genuine, resident centred relationship building. Key Responsibilities • Support the Village Managers at Burlington and Alpine View, acting as Second in Charge (2IC) • Foster strong, positive relationships with residents, prospective residents, families, staff, and key stakeholders • Support village operations across all departments, with a focus on sales, activities, and resident experience • Assist with sales activity, open days, and provide cover during sales team leave periods • Guide residents and families through transitions, ensuring clear communication, coordination, and compassionate support • Support staff recruitment, onboarding, inductions, and training records • Welcome new residents and promote engagement through the TRILife Wellness Programme and village activities and events • Support compliance with the Retirement Villages Act, Health & Safety requirements, audits, and emergency response • Promote a positive village profile within the local community and support effective communication across the village About You – Ngā Kōrero Mōu You are someone who: • Is warm, approachable, and relationship driven • Enjoys working collaboratively across diverse teams • Communicates clearly and professionally, both written and verbal • Is well organised, adaptable, and confident managing competing priorities • Brings empathy, discretion, and calm to sensitive situations • Enjoys supporting others and contributing to a positive workplace culture • Is confident using Microsoft Office and digital systems • Shares our core values of Compassion, Collaboration, Excellence, and Vision What We Offer • A varied and rewarding role in a values driven organisation • The opportunity to make a genuine difference in residents’ lives • Professional development and exposure across multiple village operations • A supportive, collaborative team environment • The satisfaction of working in vibrant, community focused villages Applicants must have New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa.
