Our client is a leading distributor of trade and industrial supplies within New Zealand and Australia and they are seeking an experienced leader to oversee and coordinate all warehouse operations for their South Auckland site. Their ideal candidate is someone who can take ownership of Auckland operations and eventually oversee NZ.  Location: WiriHours: flexible - standard dayshift operating hours Salary: $110,000 p.a plus company phone & laptop  Your Role: * Leadership: Provide leadership to 2 direct reports and a wider team of 20+ to ensure smooth operations and exceed productivity goals  * Operations: Coordinate daily warehouse activities, perform quality checks and ensure accurate documentation * Customer Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and manage key customer fulfillment metrics & implement strategies to exceed targets  * Quality Management: Develop and implement QA processes to improve performance & conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards * Safety & Compliance: Ensure safety regulations & company policies are adhered to, conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards and implement corrective action * Continous Improvement: Drive initiatives to optimise warehouse performance & collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals The ideal candidate will: * Have demonstrated leadership ability * Be someone who is a big picture, long-term thinker  * Have a background in warehouse operations or similar * Be able to identify areas for improvement and execute  * Have excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a team * Be computer literate * Have a firm understanding of workplace Health & Safety If you feel that you meet the above please submit an up to date CV with a cover letter outlining how you meet the above requirements
