We're a well-established manufacturing and distribution company based in Avondale, and we're looking for a reliable Class 2 driver to join the team. This is a great long-term opportunity for someone who's practical, physically fit, and enjoys a mix of driving and warehouse work. You'll be driving modern Class 2 trucks, delivering product across the upper North Island (Wellington and up). Most of your runs will be local or regional, but one overnight stay per week is part of the role - accommodation provided, of course. This is a Monday to Thursday role (4 days), with 6:00am starts. Finish times vary depending on the run. What we're offering: * $30-$32/hour (depending on experience) * 4-day work week - Monday to Thursday * 3 days weekends - get that work life balance back! * One overnight trip per week * Regular hours and long-term security * A mix of driving and warehouse work - keeps the job interesting * Well-maintained fleet and a supportive team What the job involves: * Driving a Class 2 truck - mainly curtain-sider * Deliveries across Auckland, Waikato, BOP, and as far as Wellington * Warehouse work when not driving - unloading, putting stock away, etc. * Some heavy lifting (up to 25kg) * Providing friendly, professional service at delivery points What we're looking for: * A valid Full Class 2 licence * Previous experience doing local and reginal runs * Someone who's well-presented and communicates well - you'll be dealing with customers daily * Forklift licence and experience * Physically fit - the job includes some manual work * Reliable and punctual - a solid work ethic is key * Happy to work both on the road and in the warehouse * Comfortable with one overnight trip per week Please note: Applicants must be NZ Citizens, Permanent Residents, or hold a valid NZ work visa.
