About the Role – Container Devanning Lead This is an exciting opportunity to join our Warehouse team in a hands-on leadership role supporting container devanning, inventory accuracy, and warehouse operations. You’ll lead daily devanning activities, ensure stock is accurately receipted and controlled, and maintain high standards across safety, food quality, and operational performance. Working closely with Warehouse, Inventory, and Production teams, you’ll help ensure products move efficiently through the supply chain while maintaining compliance and accuracy. What You’ll Be Doing Reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager and working closely with Warehouse and Production teams, you’ll support the safe and efficient flow of stock through the warehouse while leading daily devanning activities. *Lead container devanning activities to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient unloading and receipting of goods. *Verify stock against documentation, ensuring accuracy of batch numbers, quantities, best-before dates, and inventory records. *Operate forklifts and support warehouse movements safely and efficiently. *Support compliance with food safety, GMP, MPI, and health & safety requirements. *Maintain high housekeeping standards across warehouse and devanning areas. *Coordinate workflow and support team members to meet daily operational targets. *Communicate effectively with Warehouse, Production, Planning, and Inventory teams to support operational requirements. *Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, inventory control, and warehouse performance. Hours: Monday - Friday: 40 hours, with occasional Saturday work Work Location: Mt Wellington What You’ll Bring *Experience within warehouse operations, inventory control, container devanning, or FMCG environments. *Current forklift license with competent operating skills, or willingness to obtain license. *Reach truck experience and competency (desirable). *Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 25kg. *MPI Accredited Person certification, or willingness to obtain. *Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and AX systems. *Strong attention to detail, particularly around batch numbers, inventory accuracy, and best-before dates. *Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently and maintain operational pace. *Natural team and leadership capability with experience supporting and motivating teams. *Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. *Reliable, proactive, and committed to maintaining high operational standards in a busy warehouse environment.
