About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Technician to join our hard-working, enthusiastic workshop team. As our workshop expands, we’re looking for a technician confident in diagnostics, servicing, and engine repairs—someone who is self motivated, takes pride in their work, and has a keen eye for detail. What You’ll Do • Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on light and heavy vehicles, petrol and diesel engines, and hydraulic systems • Troubleshoot equipment faults and carry out repairs efficiently • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to support machine reliability • Maintain accurate service and repair records using our digital maintenance system • Identify and request required parts • Follow all safety procedures and workplace standards What You'll Bring • NZ Cert in Automotive Engineering • Minimum 3 years experience as service technician • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals • Able to work well independently and in a team • Pysically fit and capable of handling tools and parts • Good written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship • Full, clean driver’s licence (Class 2+ preferred) • Must pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening) • Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ – no visa sponsorship available What's in it for you! • Competitive pay and flexible roster • Employee medical scheme • Supportive and friendly team environment • Ongoing training and development opportunities Apply Now Apply today with your CV and cover letter or ring Mark on 027-4906953 for further information.
