Collaborate with a team to deliver excellent customer service Join our team of 5 Mechanics and 2 tyre technicians as an experienced Senior Mechanic at AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES & TYRES' in Whangaparaoa, Auckland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles to the highest standard. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem solving and has a strong diagnostic ability across a wide range of vehicles. What you'll be doing Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles Diagnosing and troubleshoot issues with electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems Perform routine checks, inspections, and servicing to industry standards Maintain detailed records of work completed and parts used Ensure workshop tools and equipment are well-maintained and safely operated Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent customer service Carry out WOF's (Can provide training) WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR : Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience as a Senior Mechanic Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills and diagnostic skills Able to work accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines Good communication skills to liaise with customers and team members Commitment to providing high-quality work and exceptional customer service A valid driver's license and your own reliable transport Ability to work independently and as part as a team What we offer At AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES & TYRES', we are committed to supporting our team's professional development and work-life balance.
