Citycare Water is looking for a practical, motivated, and adaptable person to join our field team supporting essential water services across rural and urban environments. This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days look the same. You’ll be working alongside experienced crews and gaining exposure to critical water infrastructure work, with full training and development provided. About the role You will support a range of field-based water operations, including: • Water sampling while crews are out on job sites • Testing and verifying water metering at large industrial and commercial sites • Assisting with leak detection activities (training provided through Level 2 and specialist courses) • Supporting technical work such as basic interpretation or use of technical drawings • Delivering parts and equipment to field teams as required • Light administrative duties (job notes, records, basic reporting) • Working across both rural and town-based sites About you We’re looking for someone with a fresh attitude and willingness to learn. You don’t need to know everything on day one — but you do need the right mindset. You will ideally have: • A practical, hands-on approach to work • Good communication and reliability • Confidence working independently once trained • A willingness to learn technical skills and water industry knowledge • Basic computer or admin skills • A full driver’s licence (or ability to obtain one) What we offer • Full on-the-job training • Opportunity to complete Level 2 Water Industry training and leak detection certification • Career pathways into more technical and senior roles within Citycare Water • Exposure to a wide range of field and infrastructure work • Supportive team environment with real development opportunities Why join us?
