This role is critical to both tender success and operational delivery. From bid stage through to project completion, you will develop and manage robust, realistic and strategically aligned programmes that support safe, efficient and profitable delivery in accordance with The Downer Standard and Downer Governance Management. Supporting both the Bid & Opportunities team and operational delivery teams, you will ensure programmes are technically strong, strategically aligned and actively used to manage risk, resources and performance. Wellington is the preferred location; however, we are open to candidates based in Hawke's Bay, Manawatū, Christchurch or Dunedin. Key Responsibilities: * Lead development of high quality, resource loaded tender programmes * Partner with Bid Managers and Estimators to ensure programmes reflect risk, methodology and contractual requirements * Develop and maintain baseline and live project programmes (Primavera PG/MS Project) * Engage with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations and delivery risks * Work closely with Project Managers, Regional Operational Managers, Commercial teams and Estimators * Support a strong safety and sustainability culture across projects **Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills** You are an experience infrastructure planner who combines technical expertise and commercial awareness and strong stakeholder engagement skills * Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related field * Proven experience developing tender and delivery programmes, including resource loading and cashflow forecasting * Minimum 10 years' experience in planning and scheduling within the civil infrastructure or construction sector * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly * Demondstartd leadership capability, including mentoring and capability development * Resilient, detail focused and committed to continuous improvement **Ko wai mātou | Our Organisation** Want to know more about what it is like to work at Downer?
