Hands-on leadership role in fast-paced, high-volume settings Front of House Manager 1154 Pastaria and Scopa Pizzeria are seeking experienced and confident Front of House Managers to lead our team, run services, and oversee day-to-day operations. 1154 Pastaria serves house-made pasta and natural wine in a modern, lively and busy Cuba Street setting. Our service style is smart, highly efficient, and systematic. We are proud of our strong, work-positive culture — it is integral to everything we do. Scopa Pizzeria, Cuba Street’s original pizzeria, is a bustling Italian restaurant grounded in classic Italian style — but not confined by it. Staying true to our Italian roots, we operate in a vibrant, fast-paced environment that reflects the energy of the street we call home. Together, both venues represent a dynamic hospitality group focused on quality, consistency, and exceptional guest experience. You will work closely alongside the General Manager and Owners (who are actively involved in the business) with a key focus on: • Leading and motivating a well-established Front of House team • Running smooth, efficient services • Maintaining and elevating service standards • Driving outstanding customer experiences • Overseeing daily in-house operations This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone confident in fast-paced, high-volume environments. • Minimum 2 years’ experience in restaurants or cafés • Proven experience managing a team in a busy, fast-paced environment • Strong organisational and communication skills • Formal hospitality training preferred • A current Manager’s Licence Certificate (essential, or willingness to obtain immediately) You will be professional, composed under pressure, and passionate about hospitality and team culture. • Full-time role • Minimum 30 hours per week, maximum 45 hours per week If you’re ready to take the next step in your hospitality leadership career within two of Cuba Street’s most established venues, we would love to hear from you. www.scopa.nz www.1154.co.nz
