The Gig
As our Production Manager, you'll be the conductor of our manufacturing programme everyday. You'll oversee multiple workshops between New Zealand and the USA, coordinate with product designers and customer project managers to make sure everything from planning to dispatch happens precisely when it is supposed to.
What you'll be doing:
Creating and maintaining production schedules that actually work in the real world
*Running "Fluffy Duck" meetings (yes, really) to green-light projects and keep everything flowing
*Leading daily stand-ups with Workshop and Warehouse Managers both in NZ and the USA
*Coaching your team to hit weekly production targets
*Managing production teams remotley across different time zones.
*Driving continuous improvement
*Keeping an eye on cutting-edge manufacturing tech and processes
*Collaborating with Supply Chain, Design, and Customer Project teams
*Overseeing health and safety (the show must go on, but safely)
What We're Looking For
The essentials:
*Proven people leadership experience, you know how to lead without micromanaging
*Understanding of multi-work centre scheduling and good manufacturing strategies
*Strong interpersonal skills, communication, listening and reliability are your jam
*Ability to read technical drawings
*Computer savvy across multiple software platforms
*A problem-solving mindset that adds real value
*High integrity and trustworthiness
