ANZCO Foods Eltham as looking for a Production Supervisor who will be able to ensure operating efficiencies are maximised and maintained. This is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Shift Production Manager. Duties and responsibilities will include: * Provide strong leadership and supervision to team members to ensure production plans and company specifications are consistently achieved. * Coordinate and allocate labour resources effectively to meet operational demands. * Drive and maintain operational efficiency and productivity within the department. * Ensure all employees receive appropriate training and development to perform their roles competently and to a consistently high standard * Manage personnel matters promptly, professionally, and in accordance with company policies and procedures * Maximise the cost-effective utilisation of labour and production resources * Take responsibility for pre- and post-operative hygiene inspections and results, ensuring all Quality Control programmes are effectively maintained * Foster and maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with established processes, procedures, and health and safety standards * Liaise closely with the Engineering department regarding maintenance requirements and any necessary plant or machinery modifications * Ensure all departmental documentation and administrative requirements are completed accurately and within designated timeframes Skills and experience we are looking for: * At least 3 years in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment * Proven people management and leadership skills with a commitment to positive employment relationships * Proven commitment to quality and safety * Commitment to continuous improvement * Strong computer skills We deliver taste, nutrition, and wellbeing to the world with products made from New Zealand finest beef and lamb.
