Do you take pride in a root bead that looks like a work of art? We are looking for elite Pipe Welders to join a high-impact project in the heart of the Great Lake region—Taupo. What you need to bringTo hit the ground running, you’ll need to be a 'coded' pro. We are looking for specialists who hold: - ASME Section IX: Essential (Carbon or Stainless Steel). - AS/NZS 2980: The NZ standard for structural/pressure welding. - AS/NZS ISO 9606-1: Current qualification for fusion welding of steels. - AS/NZS 1554.6: If you’re a Stainless specialist, this is a major plus. - Safe Plus / Site Safe Passport: Essential for site entry in NZ. - Confined Space & Working at Heights: Strongly preferred for this project. Your Skillset - Proven experience in TIG (GTAW) and Stick (MMAW) pipe welding. - Ability to read and interpret complex ISO drawings and P&IDs. - Expertise in multi-run butt welds and heavy-wall piping. - A 'Safety First' mindset—you look out for your mates and yourself. - Precision: Your welds need to pass 100% X-ray/NDT testing.
