If you have mechanical qualifications (preferably in diesel), excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high-quality work, this role is perfect for you! What You’ll Bring to the Team: • Qualified mechanic – ideally diesel, but we’ll consider other relevant experience. • Keen eye for detail – you take pride in accurate, high-quality work. • Experience using diagnostic equipment. • Strong at prioritising and managing your workload. • Friendly, professional, and great with customers (both internal and external). • Problem-solver – you back yourself to figure things out and get the job done. • Team player but also comfortable working independently. • Health & Safety conscious – keeping yourself and others safe on the job. Your Typical Day Will Include: • Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining machinery to manufacturer standards and within set time frames. • Keeping the Service Manager in the loop – flagging any delays or issues. • Following all Health & Safety policies and procedures. • Testing all repairs to ensure everything is working perfectly before signing off. • Helping train apprentices when required. • Staying up to date with new technology, tools, and products. • Attending training sessions when required. • Working with customers in the field and on-site in a professional manner.
