Opportunity for career growth and long-term assignments **We're on the lookout for a Structures Foreman with large scale bridge building experience to lead teams on major projects shaping Wellington's future.** What you'll be doing: * Coordinate activities of structures crew and subcontractors on site * Ensuring quality of work completed is up to standard and delivered on time * Take charge of Health and Safety compliance on site * Liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors and other staff on site * Maintain records of completed work, incidents and site progress * Solve problems and resolve issues on site promptly * Contribute and encourage a positive culture at work * Report progress, issues and needs to Supervisor What we are looking for: * Proven experience in a foreman/supervisory role within the civil sector (open to discussion with Leading Hands wishing to take the next step) * Proven experience working with structures specifically large-scale bridge builds * Holds a valid Class 1 license * Ability to build and develop your team and encourage a positive environment * Ability to read plans and specifications * Strong leadership and time management abilities * Experience working with complex major projects (advantageous) * Sound understanding of environmental factors and impacts (preferred) Why work for AWF: * Competitive hourly rates that reflect your experience and capability * Weekly pay + holiday pay + KiwiSaver * PPE provided and ongoing consistent support on and off site from AWF * Opportunities to step into long-term assignments with reputable contractors * Potential for career growth opportunities Apply now or call Liam on 021 708 711 for a confidential discussion.
