Opportunity to make a real impact within an award-winning business - 12 month contract position - Mount Maunganui location - Award Winning Multinational business Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager & Process Engineer with proven expertise in delivering capital projects within a manufacturing or production environment. You’ll ideally hold an Engineering qualification and have experience in chemical manufacturing, storage, or a similar industry. This is not your standard PM role! You’ll lead high value, high impact projects where accurate quoting, stakeholder engagement, and overcoming challenges are critical to success. What you’ll be doing: - Managing capital projects from concept through to completion - Preparing precise scopes and high level quotes to keep costs under control - Driving timelines and outcomes with a proactive, results focused approach - Engaging and managing contractors (this is not a maintenance position) - Communicating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders - Maintaining momentum and delivering results even when challenges arise What you’ll bring: - Demonstrated experience in capital project delivery - Background in chemical or liquid processing/storage, or similar industries such as pulp and paper (preferred but not essential) - Strong quoting and cost estimation skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities - Hands on contractor engagement experience - A results driven mindset with a commitment to deadlines and quality - The confidence to take ownership and deliver successful outcomes - Knowledge of NZ health and safety requirements Additional requirements: Unfortunately due to the need to get someone on board as soon as possible, we will not be in a position to consider overseas candidates for this position.
