Contribute to planning and general site tasks Tradestaff Tauranga are looking for reliable and hardworking Crane operator for a project in Waihi, kicking off in the next week. What you will do: - Operate mobile and crawler cranes safely and follow daily work plans. - Carry out pre-start checks and keep equipment clean and well maintained. - Set up safe lifting zones and communicate with dogmen and spotters. - Competent to generate basic lift plans. - Sling, lift and place loads as directed by site leadership. - Monitor hazards, follow safety rules and report issues promptly. - Support planning, toolbox meetings and general site tasks. What You’ll Bring - At least three years of crane operating experience and a minimum of 400 operating hours. - Current NZ Certificate in Cranes - mobile, crawler. - Clean full Class 4 licence plus WTR - Ability to read and follow lift plans and work safely around services, structures and exclusion zones. - Clear communication skills and a steady, reliable approach to teamwork and daily tasks. - Good communication, teamwork and dependable attendance. - Must be able to pass a pre employment drug test and have a clean MOJ What’s In It For You - Competitive pay rates: $35–$42 per hour - Immediate starts available - Long-term project opportunities - Supportive team environments - Variety of residential construction work - Weekly pay Why work with Tradestaff?
