Are you a hands-on leader with a strong mechanical background and a passion for building and guiding high-performing teams? We're seeking a Workshop Supervisor to take the lead in setting up a new, cutting-edge workshop and overseeing the assembly and commissioning of precision machinery and equipment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced professional to step into a leadership role and help shape a high-functioning, safety-first environment from the ground up.

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Payrate:
$110K - $120K (Negotiable) based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate the setup of the new workshop, including layout planning, infrastructure installation, and equipment placement.
* Supervise a team of technicians during assembly and installation of machines and mechanical systems.
* Ensure work is performed safely and efficiently, adhering to technical drawings and manufacturer specifications.
* Oversee initial machine testing, calibration, and troubleshooting as required.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workshop environment.
* Document procedures and contribute to training materials for future team members.
* Conduct or schedule routine maintenance and ensure all machinery remains operational post-setup.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a mechanical or workshop environment.
* Solid understanding of mechanical systems, hand and power tools, and workshop safety protocols.
* Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
* Hands-on attitude with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
* Physically capable of handling workshop equipment and supporting team needs.
* Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
