Our Napier based client is looking for a full time Permenant Injection moulding operator to join their tight knit team! *****Only experienced skilled Injection Mould operators will be considered for this role ***** **Key Responsibilities:** * Operate injection moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic products * Monitor machine performance, identify issues, and adjust as needed * Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of machines and moulds * Set up and change moulds, adjust machine settings, and optimize production parameters * Inspect parts for quality, identify defects, and take corrective action * Record production data, track inventory, and report any issues or concerns * Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines * Maintain a safe and organized work area, following company safety policies and procedure **Requirements:** * 1-2 years of experience in injection moulding operations * Basic knowledge of injection moulding processes, machine operation, and maintenance * Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints and schematics * Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and problem-solving skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and supervisors * Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift, and maneuver equipment/materials as required * Basic computer skills and ability to record production data accurately * Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn * Must be able to Pass a Pre employment Drug and Alcohol screening If this sounds like you - Please hit apply or email CV's to sofia.mcfarland@awf.co.nz
