Involvement in day-to-day production and machine maintenance Moutere Logging is a family-owned forest harvesting company based in Brightwater, with crews operating throughout the top of the South Island and the lower North Island. We are looking to fulfil a role as an experienced and capable Mechanised Tree Falling Operator. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently operate forestry machinery, and it would be a bonus if you were also had winch assist experience and was mechanically minded with hands-on experience in general machinery maintenance, and have experience with winch assist operations. You will be involved in day-to-day production, basic diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on machines, helping to keep the crew running efficiently and safely. Preference will be given to applicants with a can-do attitude, a strong commitment to logging, and proven mechanical practicality. We offer competitive and negotiable rates for the right person.
