Tethered Falling machine operator

Summary: Seeking an experienced operator with tether experience on steep terrain for independent work, preparing settings for grapple extraction. Highlights: 1. Good baseline knowledge of harvest planning fundamentals This role would suit an experienced operator with tether experience on steep terrain. We run a Komatsu PC 300 tractionline tether in conjunction with a Timberpro 775 fixed head falling machine. The ideal candidate would be able to work independently of the crew preparing settings for grapple extraction by a swing yarder or pole hauler. You will have a good baseline knowledge of harvest planning fundamentals and be able to lay out stems to maximise extraction efficiency. A focus on Health, Safety and environmental, machine maintenance and good overall communication would be advantageous.
