Finch Contracting Ltd is located at Paterangi, 10 minutes from Te Awamutu, 15 minutes from Cambridge and 20 minutes from Hamilton. We are a progressive agricultural contracting business and cover an area from Ngāruawāhia through to Turangi. We are currently seeking Class 4 or 5 driver for this Grass and Maize Harvest. Our contracting services include but are not limited to mowing, raking, merging, baling round/square, harvesting grass/lucerne/ maize silage, stacking, strip spraying, strip till, planting, re-grassing, transporting silage, stacking bales, cultivation, therefore applicants will be expected to be able to perform tasks that relate to Truck / Truck and Trailer transportation for our Agricultural Contracting business. Applicants will need to have a minimum of 1 years' experience driving trucks / truck and trailer off road for an agricultural company and has operated a truck next to a Forage Harvester. Job requirements and following attributes that are required: • A NZ Class 4 or 5 Driver's License or foreign equivalent which can be converted to a NZ License. • Correct visa to be eligible to work in NZ or be a NZ resident. • Clean driving record. • Compliant with NZ Logbook rules. • Available to work flexible hours Monday - Sunday. • Commitment to the whole season, commencing asap until the 31st of May 2026. • Hard worker with a good attitude. • Reliable, trustworthy and punctual. • A good sense of humor. • Good verbal and written communication. • Practical sense, with initiative and ability to work unsupervised. • Respects our equipment, our customers and their property. • Adhering to all Health and safety guidelines to operate in a safe and effective manner. • A pre-employment drug alcohol test will be required before starting (and randoms throughout the year) along with the return of a satisfactory Criminal and Driving record. • Minimum of 2 reference attached to a CV What's on offer: • A minimum of 80 hours a fortnight and maximum 140 hours a fortnight • A competitive pay range starting from $28.00 per hour. Crew Foreman

Tommy & Mandie own Skipps logging and have been in operation since 2007. We are both hands on operators with a passion for health, safety and wellbeing of our people and have strong whanau values. We have two tower crews in the Waikato and Tommy is a hands on owner operator who works alongside his foreman giving support. Mandie works with H&S, admin and everything else in between. We are looking for a Foreman to join the team and take over the day to day running of one of the crews. The crew is a cable harvesting crew with a 70 foot tower, a harvester, 2 loaders, tethered felling machine & winch and grapple carriage. The crew also has a team of manual breaker outs. Ideally we are looking for a forestry foreman with a proven track record but would look at someone who has been in a leadership role in a crew wanting to step up into management. If you are after a new challenge and have a safety first mentality, strong people skills, an excellent understanding of how to pull wood and a passion for logging we would like to hear from you.
