Our client is a well-established and fast-paced distribution centre based in the Porirua area, and we’re on the hunt for a reliable, hands-on team player to join their growing team. What you’ll be doing: • General warehousing duties including picking, packing, devanning of stock, loading for delivery and deliveries to homes. • Safe and efficient forklift operation. • Interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner • Assisting with keeping the warehouse organised and running smoothly What you’ll need to bring: • Full Class 1 Driver’s License • Ability to return a negative pre employment drug test • Ability to return a clear MOJ background check. • Current Forklift Certificate • Physically fit – you’ll be lifting and moving household items • Solid knowledge of the greater Wellington region is a big plus • Strong work ethic and great customer focussed attitude. • Willingness to work one weekend day (either Saturday or Sunday) Team player who’s not afraid to muck in and get the job done Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Either Monday to Saturday or Tuesday to Sunday —one day on the weekend required during busy periods.
