Continuous learning and career development Production Operator – Awarua Site  Join a team that’s shaping the future of farming in New Zealand.  We’re looking for Production Operators to join our Awarua site and help us manufacture high-quality fertiliser that supports farmers across the country. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic environment where safety, teamwork, and continuous learning are key.  Why Ballance?  At Ballance, we reward great work with great benefits:  Free Life, Income, Trauma, and Medical Insurance for you.   Excellent career pathways and structured competency development.  Be Ballance benefits program  About the Role  As a Production Operator, you’ll:  Operate and monitor the Acidulation Plant to meet production and quality standards.  Carry out raw material intake and mobile plant operations (loader and forklift).  Perform routine checks, sampling, and basic maintenance.  Maintain strong housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.  Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to keep operations running smoothly.   What We’re Looking For  Physically fit and able to work rotating shifts across 24 hours 6 Days.  Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment.  Good communication skills and a positive team attitude.  Mechanical aptitude and production experience (advantageous).  Forklift and loader licenses are a plus – if you don’t have them, we’ll help you get them!  Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test.   Preferred Skills & Experience  Experience in industrial or chemical manufacturing environments.  Fault-finding and problem-solving skills.  Basic maintenance capability and safety awareness.  Class 1 driver’s license (essential); Class 2 HT and F endorsements (preferred).   About Us  We care about our land, our people, and our future.
