Work closely with the driver and another labourer. This is a practical, team-based role with opportunity to grow. This is a temp to perm opportunity. Benefits * Start rate of $26 - $27. Note that you will accumulate the hours while temping * Unused sick days paid out annually as a bonus * 6am-2:30pm schedule * Set holiday periods May (1 week) | Oct (2 weeks) | Christmas (2 weeks) * Team-focused environment with support on-site Duties * Unload blast freezer from previous day * Load/unload fresh and frozen product * Operate forklift on site * Prep fish for factory processing * Maintain yard and equipment cleanliness Skills & experience * Forklift Operator Certificate (essential) * Class 2 truck license (advantageous) * Physically fit - heavy lifting involved * Honest, reliable, self-motivated * Comfortable working solo or in a small team * Valid NZ Working rights Culture People enjoy working in this team because it's hands-on, steady work with strong team spirit and clear structure.
