Work-life balance with a two-week Christmas/New Year shutdown Freeman Roofing Nelson is looking for a customer service superstar to support as the new Client Rep - Dispatch and Logistic Coordinator. Your work will include coordinating and managing incoming and outgoing goods, supporting delivery logistics and driver movements, assisting customers with collections and loading, maintaining accurate stock control and inventory management and providing general administrative and stock support. As a key customer facing staff member, you will be an ambassador for Freeman Roofing and our values: Safety, Integrity, Family, Respect, Ownership, Transparency and Leading by example. You’ll have experience in customer service, dispatching customer orders accurately and quickly, receipting inwards goods, coordinating loading of deliveries on internal and external services and managing appropriate levels of stock. Experience and certification to use forklifts and gantry cranes will be an advantage however training will be provided if necessary. What you will bring: * A clean full New Zealand driver licence * Certification and experience using forklifts * Experience operating gantry cranes and/or the certificates to do so * Experience in a manufacturing environment * Experience dispatching and receiving goods * Work in a health and safety focussed way * Be reliable and willing to learn * Prepared to work full-time on a permanent basis * Be physically fit to assist with lifting and moving products To succeed in this role you will: * Be flexible and able to adapt to changes of plans on the fly * Have an eye for detail and accuracy * Be a great communicator as a liaison between the customers and both our administration and factory teams * Be confident receiving inwards goods accurately and preparing orders for dispatch as ordered The Benefits As a Freeman Roofing employee, you will enjoy staff discounts, our employment service recognition programme, regular team celebrations, a competitive wage and the opportunity for growth and development within the wider Freeman Roofing network across our 11 branches and future business endeavours. You will ordinarily work 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday with some overtime needed from time-to-time.
