Venues Otautahi is thrilled to be accepting applications for individuals to join our casual staffing pool of Event Services Attendants to help bring the stadium to life! We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable team members to help deliver unforgettable experiences for our guests. Event Services Attendants can take on a variety of customer focused tasks during any given shift and this role suits those who are flexible and happy to move with the needs of the event. You could be rostered to work in any of our current venues, including One New Zealand Stadium when it is open in April 2026. This would mean you could be rostered in the following areas:? * Food & beverage service - waiting tables, bar service, working in our corporate suites and other premium hospitality spaces * Hosting - ticket scanning, assisting with seating and providing customer service * Cashiering - serving guests and taking payment within our retail food and beverage units * Retail Cooking - cooking and assisting in the cooking of hot food in our retail food units * Event/venue Setup - stocking fridges, polishing cutlery and glassware, basic cleaning and preparing spaces for corporate functions * Barista -making delicious coffee for guests You'll be right in the thick of it at times, from concerts, to conferences, gala dinners, and large sporting events - and everything in between. About Us Venues Otautahi attract and host a wide range of events in Christchurch and manage a diverse and iconic portfolio of community venues, including the Christchurch Town Hall, Wolfbrook Arena, Apollo Projects Stadium, Hagley Oval, the Air Force Museum of New Zealand, and One New Zealand Stadium when its operational. The events held across the Venues Otautahi portfolio deliver significant social, cultural, and economic benefit to the region and ultimately these iconic city venues play a valued role to the Christchurch way of life and the economic prosperity and social wellbeing of the region. Join us in 2026 This campaign marks the second of three planned recruitment phases as we prepare for the opening of One New Zealand Stadium. This group of new team members will play a vital role in shaping day-to-day operations and will be front and centre when the stadium becomes fully operational next year, as activity ramps up. In the meantime, we have an exciting line up of events coming up, from headline performances by Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi, and Lorde, to international cricket matches, business events, expos, and much more. About You Ideal candidates will have: * Ability to work?a mixture of early mornings, weekdays, evenings, and weekends * Ability to be flexible and able to get to/from our various venues * Prior experience in a food and beverage role, with premium or corporate hospitality experience highly regarded * A genuine passion for taking care of people and providing an amazing guest experience Our guests deserve an exceptional experience, so with the support of a fantastic team, you will help us ensure that is exactly what they get.?
