Whether you're an experienced tester or a recent graduate with a strong technical foundation Qube is looking for a Software Tester to join our Product Development team. This is a great opportunity to apply your skills in a real-world environment and contribute to the reliability of digital solutions that support New Zealand’s port logistics. **Location:** Tauranga New Zealand **Status:** Full-time position working Monday to Friday **Your job duties would be:** * Develop and maintain test plans test cases and scripts that reflect real-world workflows * Execute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality performance and usability * Collaborating with the QPNZ training department and Software Business Analyst to develop effective training materials for end users * Identify document and track defects using tools like Jira * Conduct regression integration and full system testing across multiple environments * Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage * Validate acceptance criteria and provide clear feedback on test results and risks * Champion quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle * Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and stakeholder validation * Apply domain knowledge to ensure software meets operational needs in port logistics **You will also need to:** * Have 2–4 years’ experience in software testing or be a recent graduate with relevant project or internship experience * Understand end-to-end testing methodologies and workflow-driven testing * Be able to interpret technical documentation and map it to operational flows * Demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical thinking * Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teams * Be willing to travel to other port and business locations as required * Be self-driven and capable of managing your workload independently * Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments * Experience in logistics supply chain transport or related industries is a plus **What we can offer you:** * Very competitive remuneration * Supportive and collaborative team environment * Full cover health insurance * Opportunity to grow your career in a leading logistics technology team **Why QUBE?** Qube recognises the value of an inclusive and diverse work environment. Senior Test Analyst

With your rapid, focused and efficient testing, we'll be able to continue ensuring our customers are getting the best out of their Trade Me experience. **Here is what you can expect from this role:** * Mentor and coach junior members of the team. * Advocate automation across teams and disciplines. * Find and address challenges with our processes and practices. * Find opportunities to apply new, innovative technologies to solve our current business problems. * Perform and document context-driven testing activities across all relevant platforms. * Create and maintain suitable automated checks in accordance with the test strategy. * Participate fully in agile delivery processes; leading the analysis, design and development. * Manage the deployment of cases to production, and support resolution of incidents. * Identify and resolve production bugs through the triage process. * Contribute, through knowledge sharing, peer review and mentoring to the capability of the test guild. * Advocate and facilitate increasing ownership of quality amongst the whole squad. * Regularly communicate with the squad and wider stakeholders about the progress, risks and overall quality of the products. * Help engineers with their test planning and execution. * Monitor production environments and triage possible bugs or anomalies. * Audit test automation suite coverage and state, and implement corrective actions upon drift. * Test and audit applications' security and performance to make sure they are aligned with our standards **What you will bring to our team:** * 5+ years' experience in similar roles, ideally with a mixed background of exploratory and automation testing. * Ability to automate processes using Bash, Python, or similar tools. * Experience with Agile software development methodologies preferred, but not required. * Experience working across different layers of the technology stack. * Experience applying context-driven testing approaches would be ideal. * Experience in API, UI/ mobile automation. * Experience in using monitoring tools like Splunk and New Relic. * Ability to wrangle data using SQL. * A good team player and trusted advisor, able to provide support and advice to others with a positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate. * Organised and comfortable with self-directed work; adaptable and can cope with change in a fast-moving environment. * An eye for detail; willing to work through the little things to make our web experience faster, more reliable, and easier to maintain. * Propensity for personal motivation, initiative, adaptability and the willingness to face challenges head-on. **You'll have the best time working at Trade Me, and this is why:** **#Flexibility:** Flexibility means different things to different people and we support you to find what works, including a home office set up and utilities allowance.
