Trade Assist is seeking a Total Refractory Maintenance Technician to join the team working onsite at the steel factory in Glenbrook. This hands-on role will see you working across a range of tasks including maintenance, servicing, and assisting with refractory materials. You'll be based onsite, working as part of a close-knit team supporting one of the country's leading steel manufacturers. This role does not require prior industry experience - what matters most is that you are reliable, willing to learn, and have a positive, can-do attitude. If you're mechanically minded, computer literate, and enjoy practical work, we'll provide the training to help you succeed. Your Responsibilities: * Assist with servicing and maintenance of steelmaking equipment and materials * Learn to carry out repair and preparation work with full training provided * Support the safe running of day-to-day operations onsite * Work closely with your team and supervisors to complete tasks safely and efficiently * Follow all health and safety requirements and maintain a tidy, safe workspace About You: * Mechanical Engineering Degree VERY Advantageous! * Forklift Licence VERY Advantageous!
