Frankton Automotive, a trusted family-run business proudly serving Queenstown, is currently seeking an experienced mechanic to join our dedicated team. This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week) based in Glenda Drive, Frankton. We specialise in a wide range of automotive services — from late model to vintage and almost everything in between, general maintenance and repairs. We also perform tarmac and gravel race car preparation. No two days are the same, and we take pride in delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions with a personal touch to our customers. Key Duties & Responsibilities: • Perform diagnostics and mechanical repairs across a wide variety of vehicles • Manage day to day workflow/jobs for workshop • WOF certification or willingness to obtain • Carry out routine maintenance and thorough inspections • Work closely with a small, skilled team to deliver top-notch service • Keep your workspace clean, safe, and well-organized What We’re Looking For: • Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, minimum 5 years • Solid understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills • Ability to and manage work both independently and collaboratively For the right candidate, we will offer a competitive pay rate with potential work vehicle/fuel card and other perks.
