About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Site Supervisor or HVAC Foreman to join our growing team delivering high-quality commercial projects across Queenstown. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for leading site activity, coordinating teams, and ensuring HVAC installations are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Whether you come from a strong HVAC foreman background or already operate as a site supervisor, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of exciting commercial builds in a fast-growing region. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and other trades to ensure smooth delivery across site, while also mentoring and developing your team. On a Daily Basis, You Will: * Lead and coordinate HVAC installers and subcontractors on commercial projects * Oversee and carry out installation of HVAC systems including ductwork, pipework, and associated mechanical services * Run site activities including Pre-starts & Site Safety Inspections * Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documentation * Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to a high-quality standard * Troubleshoot technical and on-site issues as they arise * Mentor and support apprentices and junior team members * Liaise closely with Project Managers, site engineers, and other trades to keep projects on track What we are looking for: * Proven experience in commercial HVAC installation in New Zealand, Australia or similar * 2+ years experience as either a HVAC Foreman or Site Supervisor on commercial projects * Strong understanding of HVAC systems including ducting, pipework, and mechanical services * Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications * Strong leadership capability with a hands-on, practical approach * Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills * Ability to manage competing priorities on active construction sites * Full NZ Driver’s Licence preferred * Trade qualification in Refrigeration/HVAC is an advantage but not essential for the right candidate Why you’ll love this role * Competitive hourly rate * Company vehicle & fuel card * Every day is different – enjoy the variety of being on the tools while also leading and running the project on site * Long-term role with strong pipeline of commercial work in Queenstown * Opportunity to step into broader site leadership responsibilities as the region grows * Strong focus on excellence across safety, quality, and team culture * Supportive, down-to-earth team environment with good people and good banter If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
