Heavy Diesel Mechanic
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our clients high-performing team servicing and repairing some of the biggest machinery in the industry. You'll be backed by a company that values craftsmanship, safety, and continuous development with plenty of room to grow.

Responsibilities,
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy earthmoving and mining equipment including excavators, haul trucks, graders, and bulldozers
* Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance both in the field and workshop settings
* Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
* Overhaul engines, transmissions, and hydraulic components to OEM specifications
* Document all work completed through digital service reports and follow detailed work instructions
* Work collaboratively with technical and operational teams to minimize downtime and meet production goals
* Always maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace and uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
About you,
* Relevant Trade Qualification - Heavy Diesel or Mobile Plant Mechanic (NZ Certificate or equivalent)
* 3+ years' hands-on experience with large-scale mobile equipment mining, quarry, or construction fleet exposure preferred
* Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and drivetrain components
* Ability to use diagnostic software and read technical drawings and schematics
* Effective communicator who can work independently and within a team
* Physically fit with a solid focus on safety, reliability, and precision
* Full Class 1 Driver's License
