Key Responsibilities • Diagnosis and rectification of vehicle faults. • Provision of vehicle preventative maintenance services. • The fabrication of parts where required or the ordering of parts from preferred suppliers. • Installation of the replacement parts and reassembly of vehicle to the required standards. • Management of time in an efficient manner to ensure it is spent working on customer vehicles and with minimal un-chargeable time. • Ensure activities comply with Acts and Regulations together with adherence to franchise policies, procedures and values. Skills, Capabilities and Experience Technical • Practical knowledge of motor vehicles and parts for removal and reassembly. • Strong ability of fault finding and diagnosis. • Able to identify solutions to remedy faults. • Parts fabrication and welding skills. Personal Attributes • Good communication skills. • A team player. • Ability to work autonomously & be self-motivated. • Creative, resourceful, and meticulous. Qualifications • A relevant technical qualification in automotive engineering is desired but not essential • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an automotive retail repair environment • WOF authority would be advantageous but not essential.
