We’re a well-known Nelson-based caravan retailer specialising in new and used Swift caravans, (with a new franchise arriving), proudly serving customers all over New Zealand. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on, mechanically minded team member to join our friendly crew. About the role This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for: • Servicing and maintaining caravans • Diagnosing and fixing faults • Carrying out pre-delivery inspections • Driving and parking caravans safely • Helping with general day-to-day tasks around the yard and workshop About you We’re looking for someone who is: • Mechanically minded with good practical skills – an understanding of 12 and 240v systems would be an advantage • Friendly, helpful, and customer-focused • Reliable, honest, and willing to pitch in • Has good attention to detail and a problem solving ability • Comfortable towing, reversing, and manoeuvring caravans (training can be provided) • Keen to learn and take pride in their work Previous experience in caravan, automotive, or similar industries is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person who has the right attitude.
