Our Mount Maunganui workshop—one of seven across the country—plays a critical role in maintaining and supporting this equipment within the port environment.  The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and qualified Automotive Electrician to join our experienced team in Mount Maunganui.  This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of heavy plant and equipment, applying your technical expertise across diagnostics, installations, and repairs. You will be involved in supporting a wide variety of equipment brands including Wagner, Volvo, CAT, Liebherr, Fuchs, Hyster, Kalmar, and Omega.  You will also play a key role in the installation and integration of advanced systems such as cameras, communication equipment, and emerging technologies like LiDAR. This role will require travel across the various branches across New Zealand.  Key Responsibilities * Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on heavy machinery  * Read and interpret complex wiring diagrams and technical manuals  * Install and commission electrical and electronic systems, including cameras, radios, and LiDAR  * Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with safety and compliance requirements  * Contribute to continuous improvement and workshop efficiency  * Travel within New Zealand for project-based work when required  About You * Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and diagnostics  * Experience working with heavy plant or industrial equipment (preferred)  * Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation  * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability  * Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team  * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)  * Solid computer literacy  * Proactive, self-motivated approach with a high level of initiative  * Flexibility, reliability, and willingness to travel  * Strong commitment to workplace health and safety  What We Offer * Competitive remuneration package  * Ongoing training and career development opportunities  * Exposure to a wide range of leading-edge equipment and technologies  * Supportive team environment within a well-established organisation  Important Information As part of C3 Limited's commitment to health and safety, the successful applicant will be required to undergo and pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug screening.  Apply Now If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding role within a leading New Zealand company, we encourage you to apply and become part of the C3 team.
