Our team works collaboratively to ensure the best possible learning outcomes for our tamariki. We are looking for a passionate dedicated teacher to join our preschool whānau. Our hours of operation are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and the successful applicant will work approximately 35 hours per week. We offer full pay parity, paid teacher registration and first aid, two-week closure over the Christmas break and a one-week closure mid-year. Teachers receive one afternoon a week off for non-contact along with the continual opportunity for professional growth. We have a wonderful environment where our teachers are respected and looked after. We are seeking a kind, nurturing, energetic super star to join our team, the successful applicant will have the following attributes: • A sound knowledge of Te Whāriki, individual learning plans and programme planning. • Good understanding of curriculum, planning and assessment. • Have an understanding of ECE regulations and compliance. • Demonstrate a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi • Be a team player. • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. • Innovative and able to use initiative. • Ability to inspire and motivate children.
