Sandyford Ecomatic Gemini Electric & Wood Fired Range Cooker

Here is a new Sandyford Ecomatic Gemini - this range oven provides a combination of electric & wood-fired cooking & heating options. This is enamelled cast iron & is a country-kitchen classic. The left hand side hotplate and 2 x ovens are electically powered while the middle & lower right hand ovens & the two hotplates with covers are heated by the firebox on the right hand side. There is also a wetback boiler in the firebox with two connections at the back (the red bungs in the photo). It comes with the User Manual, 2 x Tee-handles for lifting the cast-iron hot-plates out for cleaning, 2 x teatowel rail supports (you will need to find a piece of tube 22 mm diameter for the rail). It doesn't have any oven racks or trays either but these are easily made by any general engineering shop. The oven was bought new in 2012 with the intention of using it in a future building project that didn't eventuate. While I would love to keep it for future use I just don't have the space anymore. The firebox has had only one very small fire in it prior to it being shipped to NZ to ensure that it was "used" when I brought it home. Check with your local council, but where I live, because this is an oven, the fire does not need to pass any emissions standards. Dimensions: The top surface is 1385mm wide x 610 deep x 910 high. The top surface has an upstand running along the rear edge which is 950 high. The towel rail supports protrude 80mm in front of the top. The main body is 1340 wide and the enamelled front face is 1360 wide. The flue internal diameter is 130mm. Its on a pallet with castors but still needs some grunt to move around - it weighs approx 500 kg with the pallet.
