




Summary: This role focuses on maintaining store security, preventing loss, and ensuring the safety of personnel through active monitoring, team collaboration, and adherence to security procedures. Highlights: 1. Monitor shop floor for suspicious activities and prevent fraudulent behavior. 2. Promote profit protection and reduce shrinkage throughout the store. 3. Collaborate with law enforcement and leadership on security and safety measures. Loss Prevention/ Store Security: · Monitoring the shop floor and external areas for suspicious or potentially fraudulent activities throughout the day. · Maintain a constant awareness for shoplifters or people behaving in a suspicious manner. · Ensure team members' awareness of suspect customers is regularly maintained through the issuing of regular updates. · Ensuring customers leaving our Drive Thru exit have had their transactions processed accurately. · Share and gather intel utilising the community loss prevention platform. · Support management in identifying and implementing approved security procedures and processes. · Ensure the safety of all personnel at all times · Reducing shrinkage by promoting profit protection/loss prevention throughout all areas of our store. · Creating and maintaining a secure work environment for all people within and around our store by detecting and deterring thieves and fraudsters. · Identify and collaborate with our store's network to prevent loss and harm. · Promoting a culture of Safety and Wellbeing by training and coaching our team to be vigilant in the area of loss prevention and safety. · Communicate effectively with team members, team leaders, external security providers and managers in regard to security and safety measures. · Collaborate with law enforcement where applicable in matters of crime reporting · Work alongside managers at their request for review of camera surveillance footage and preparing reports where required. · Communication of issues and concerns to the leadership team with a great sense of urgency · Use of appropriate verbal and non- verbal language befitting our professional standards · Willingness to perform any other duties or responsibility that you manager feels are appropriate, given your role and skills · Commitment to abide by the company Values, Purpose and Vision – to give a damn and treat others the way you wish
