Opportunity for career progression About the Role As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves a mix of patrols, incident response, and client-facing duties. Positions available: Part-time Shifts: Friday 5:00PM-10:15PM Pay rate: $28/hr Key Responsibilities -Conduct patrols to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets -Provide a professional and approachable security presence -Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance -Identify and assess risks, taking appropriate action in line with procedures -Adhere to all site and company security protocols -Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records About You To be successful in this role, you will have: -A valid Security License -Current First Aid and CPR certification -Certificate of Approval (COA) is required -Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded) -Availability to workday/night and weekday shifts -Good physical fitness, as patrols are required -Ability to work independently and follow procedures -Strong attention to detail -A reliable and punctual work history -Full New Zealand working rights What We Offer -Employment with a well-established national organisation -Supportive team environment -Ongoing training and development opportunities -Career progression within the Millennium Services Group Millennium Services Group is an equal opportunity employer.
