About the role: We are seeking for 2 reliable, professional, trusted Security Guards, who are available 24/7 for a rotating roster, to join our Hawke’s Bay team of dedicated security personnel As a crucial guardian of public safety, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security of infrastructure, preventing trespassing, vandalism, and other offences that may occur on-site. This role places a strong emphasis on accurate written reports, monitoring entry and exit points, and delivering a high standard of customer service. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular patrols and site checks - Respond to alarm and noise complaints. - Monitor and report any suspicious activity - Respond to incidents and emergencies professionally - Maintain clear and accurate records - Provide excellent customer service while ensuring site safety Mandatory Requirements: To progress through the recruitment process, you must consent to and be able to satisfy pre-employment checks, including: - Driver’s License, Credit Checks, Ministry of Justice Criminal History and Immigration checks. - Currently reside in the Hawke’s Bay region and be legally eligible to work in New Zealand. - Hold a current Certificate of Approval (COA) - Hold a full clean NZ Driver’s licence - Articulate and a comprehensive understanding of the written and spoken English language. - Proven experience in security is a plus. - Strong communication and observational skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Reliable transport to get to and from work sites Apply Now!
