About the Role: We are currently seeking for a dependable and detail oriented Cashier to join our operations team in Dunedin. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for counting, processing and reconciling cash, completing accurate data entry, and ensuring all transactions meet strict security and compliance standards. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our cash handling operations What You’ll Be Doing: • Process client banking accurately and on time. • Check documents and complete balancing. • Record and enter data accurately. • Handle bulk cash safely and securely. • Report discrepancies promptly. • Deliver great service while meeting SLAs. • Follow company procedures and security standards. What We’re Looking For: • Confident cash handling skills with the ability to count, process, and reconcile accurately • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, balancing, and documentation • Excellent communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach • Reliable and organised team player who can also work independently and manage priorities • Comfortable learning new systems quickly and working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment • Able to lift up to 10kgs for long periods of time with the use of Personal Protective Equipment What You’ll need: To progress through the recruitment process, you must consent to and be able to satisfy pre-employment checks, including: • Previous experience in the cash/security industry (advantage) • Holds Security industry qualification (advantage) • Holds Security training level 2 for Certificate of Approval (advantage) • Currently reside in the Dunedin region and Legal working rights within New Zealand Must pass all relevant background and vetting checks Be part of a team that protects what matters — Apply Now by sending your most up to date CV to vishal.anand@armourguard.co.nz to join Armourguard Dunedin as a Cashier
