Operating since 1930, we pride ourselves on a strong customer focused approach to servicing the building trade across the region. The Role Our Customer Support People are the front line of our services, providing assistance, expertise and ensuring positive outcomes for all customers. You’ll be part of our Drive Through team, playing a critical role in providing customer service, collecting and packaging orders for collection or delivery, restocking, as well assisting with inwards and outwards goods. You’ll work closely with the whole ITM team but particularly with dispatch, yard and store staff, and customers, becoming a trusted face of the business. Key Responsibilities - Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service - Accurate and timely completion of customers’ orders (sourcing, picking, packaging and delivery documentation) - Offer product and industry knowledge to customers, confirming ITM as the building supplies specialist - Restocking of materials and goods - Loading and unloading building materials efficiently and safely - Contribute to a safe, clean and tidy environment Requirements - The legal right to work in New Zealand indefinitely - Current NZ Drivers Licence (Class 1) - F & O Endorsement (or willingness to obtain) - Physically fit and healthy - Initiative, a strong work ethic, and an eye for detail - Excellent communication skills - Ability to work well in a team and individually - A positive attitude with drive and passion - Experience in the building industry would be an advantage What We Offer - A chance to be a part of a well-established, locally owned, successful business - Competitive hourly rate - Supportive, friendly team environment with opportunities to grow and develop - Generous staff purchasing privileges Hours Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 5.30pm with 3 hours every third Saturday (9am – 12pm).
