Join a team valuing safety and reliability We are looking for a class five driver to join our freight team. This position operates a Scania drop sider as well as other vehicles within our fleet. If you are looking for good pay as well as additional staff benefits such as fuel and local discounts, then look no further. Safety is at the for front of how we operate and it must be for you as well. You will need to be a proven operator of a class five vehicle and have a good understanding of HPMV permits. This role operates within the top of the South Island and requires nights away to complete loads. This is usually 2-3 nights per week. Cartage of the following products which will require travel and stays outside of the Marlborough region: Hynds products, wool, hay, Baleage, Department of Conservation tasks, salt, Fertiliser, cardboard, cars and other general freight operating in the top of the south Island. Pay will be reflective of the skills and experience that you hold. The role is generally Monday to Friday however there is seasonal work which requires weekend work. If you are into drugs do us both a favour and don't apply as we have a very robust drug testing policy with regular testing. You will be physically fit, hardworking, honest and reliable. You will need to be aware of industry standards and regulations and have a proven history of operating safely. If you are punctual, reliable, have a good sense of humour, and a can-do attitude you will fit in well with our team.
