Are you a skilled, safety-first Class 5 driver who takes pride in delivering every load on time and in perfect condition? We're a high-performing, respected transport operation in the Christchurch region, and we're searching for a reliable team player to help keep our customers smiling and our reputation strong. Your day-to-day will include: * Operating heavy combination vehicles safely and professionally on both local Christchurch routes and longer linehaul journeys * Delivering freight accurately, on schedule, and with exceptional care — every single time * Securing and restraining loads to the highest standards to protect cargo and keep everyone safe on the road * Completing all necessary paperwork, logs, and digital systems efficiently using our user-friendly in-cab technology * Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and reporting any issues promptly We're looking for someone who: * Holds a current, clean full Class 5 licence with at least 6 months of recent heavy vehicle experience (more is great!) * Has a genuine, non-negotiable commitment to health & safety — you live by "safety first" * Is physically fit, reliable, and excellent at managing your time and prioritising tasks * Understands best-practice load restraint, securement, and safe freight handling techniques * Can confidently pass a Police Check and our pre-employment drug & alcohol test * Bonus points if you hold (or are willing to obtain): * OSH Certificate / WTR * F endorsement (dangerous goods) * Other relevant endorsements or certifications ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO WORK IN NEW ZEALAND If this sounds like the job for you, apply ONLINE or email Kate - KATE@REMARKABLEPEOPLE.CO.NZ or call on 022 266 4775 About Us Remarkable People is a New Zealand-owned and operated recruitment company, founded in Central Otago in 2016.
