Communicate effectively with logistics for route optimisation About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 5 driver to join our team based in Christchurch. This role involves transporting goods across various locations in a safe and timely manner, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities * Safely transport goods to designated locations following all local driving regulations. * Tanker delivery of Emulsion and Bitumen products, when required. * Verify delivery instructions and ensure accurate logging of deliveries. * Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle. * Communicate effectively with the logistics team to optimise route efficiency. * Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance or repair needs. Qualifications and Skills * Possess a full New Zealand driving licence Class 5 * Previous experience in a driving role, preferably with bulk cartage of aggregate, snow clearing & bulk liquid deliveries is an advantage but not essential. * Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Good geographical knowledge of Christchurch and surrounding areas. * Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle checks.
