Part of an exciting, challenging, and growing business Hoskins Transport Limited is a general freight carrier covering the Canterbury area, Waitaki District, Central Otago and the Southland regions. Hoskins Transport Limited owns Waitaki Transport with bases in Oamaru & Christchurch. * THIS POSITION IS CHRISTCHURCH BASED *We are looking for a talented, versatile, think on your feet, multi-tasker extraordinaire. * You must have a class 5 licence and be confident in all aspects of driving. * You must be a skilled forklift operator and be able to handle all types of freight to load and unload trucks. * You will enjoy a bit of pressure to get time critical units unloaded and reloaded as needed. * You will thrive on being versatile. You might be driving a truck one minute, a forklift the next then helping to tie on a load. * You will have the ability to work as part of the team. * This position is a minimum of 40 hours weekly and is currently averaging approx 60 hours. * Occasional weekend work as per the demands of our customers. *Applicants will be required to complete a pre employment drug test.
