Freight Haulage is gearing up for our summer season and has vacancies for Class 5 full-time positions in various roles. • Container Truck 7 axle unit • Curtainsider 9 axle unit Invercargill or Gore based • Bulk Truck 9 axle unit • Swinglift Invercargill or Gore based • Hiab Truck • Bitumen Tanker You will have opportunities to drive other vehicles within the Freight Haulage brand. Freight Haulage has 60 trucks in various applications, storage and container handling all under Biosecurity New Zealand and New Zealand Customs We are looking for someone who is a team player, methodical and able to think ‘outside the square’. A ‘can do’ approach is vital, and we are looking for committed candidates who share this attitude. This position is ideally suited to a candidate who: • Has experience and a broad knowledge of the transport industry. • Is committed to maintaining a high HSE standard and safe working environment. • Displays excellent communication skills. • Has the ability to work well in a team environment. • Is punctual and reliable. • Can remain calm and exercise common sense during challenging times. • Has a strong focus on customer relations. • Class 5 licence • Unit Standard 16617 Use a Truck Loader Crane would be an advantage. • Unit Standard 17679 Truck Mounted Sidelifter would be an advantage.
