Work collaboratively to meet delivery schedules * $30 - $32 per hour | Weekly Pay * Christchurch Based | Covering the South Island * Overtime and Career Progression provided Our client, a nationwide provider of metal products are seeking an experienced and proactive Class 4 Driver to join their team. For this position you will be covering both metro deliveries in Canterbury and also further adrift across the South Island. What's On Offer: * Competitive pay rate of $30-$32 per hour * Steady work schedule: Monday to Friday & some Saturdays - Day Shifts * Overtime and career progression provided Requirements: * Valid Class 4 License: Must be current and in good standing, with experience on NZ roads * Current HIAB Certification: Highly advantageous but training can be provided for outstanding candidates * Experience: Extensive experience driving a Class 4 vehicle and operating a Hiab crane is highly preferred. * Forklift Experience: Highly desired and current OSH and F endorsements. * Reliability: Strong punctuality and dependability are crucial. * Physical Fitness: Must be capable of performing manual labour as needed. * NZ Work Rights: Valid visa/residency or Citizenship Key Responsibilities: * Operate a Class 4 vehicle equipped with a Hiab crane safely and efficiently * You are responsible for loading and unloading the vehicle, general cleaning duties and client relations so must be adaptable * Maintain the vehicle * Work collaboratively to meet delivery schedules and support overall operations Please Note - All applicants for this position must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and MOJ check.
