Work with New Zealand's most skilled drivers and support staff **Job Description** About the role: We are currently looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our team in Christchurch. In this role you will be delivering cylinders filled with cryogenic products to customer sites. - Working hours will be Monday to Friday with 8.00 am start time, finish times may vary depending on deliveries - Unloading and delivering liquid gas cylinders to customer sites - Manual handling of cylinders - Maintaining truck and gear - Compliance to our health and safety standards For this role, you will: - Have proven Class 2 driving experience preferably within a dangerous goods environment - Have a clean driver’s license - Be physically fit and willing to do manual work - Be flexible, adaptable, and have a strong work ethic - Have a safety-first mindset and the ability to identify and minimise risks - Have a Dangerous Goods certificate, but is not essential as we can offer training Pay + Benefits: What we offer: - Competitive hourly rates, paid weekly - Fully paid medical insurance for yourself - Guaranteed hours of work - Training and upskilling opportunities About the Company: We’re Alexander Group, a well-established New Zealand family-owned specialist transportation and distribution solutions for hazardous and high value goods.
