Summary: Seeking an experienced Quality Advisor (Electrical Works) to provide technical support and quality oversight nationwide, ensuring compliance and improving the quality management system. About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Quality Advisor (Electrical Works) to provide technical support and quality oversight across our projects nationwide. You will be supporting the implementation of McKay's Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001. As a Quality Advisor you will be active on sites, supporting documentation, inspections, audits, and compliance activities acting as a trusted advisor to project teams. McKay are flexible on the location of the successful candidate. This role will require travel nationwide. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant New Zealand legislation, standards, and codes. * Monitor the life cycle of all electrical works across regions. * Monitor, report, and escalate quality performance issues. * Maintain detailed compliance documentation for accurate reporting. * Identify opportunities to improve McKay's quality management system. * Provide hands-on quality advice to project teams and managers on site. * Assist with preparing, reviewing, and maintaining project quality plans, ITPs, and procedures. About you: * Registered Electrician or Electrical Engineer with relevant New Zealand qualifications. * Strong knowledge of NZ electrical legislation, compliance requirements, and AS/NZS standards. * Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) or internal auditing certification preferred. * Additional quality, continuous improvement, or project management certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Prince2) are advantageous. * Demonstrated experience implementing and managing quality systems, project quality plans, and audit programmes. * Practical experience in inspection, testing, commissioning, and certification of electrical installations.
